Hey there, I've just come back to GW and I used to play when the first one was out. I been looking at some pure damage builds for a Ranger and it seems like Ranger/Ele seems to be the best.

I need a bow that does Fire Dmg by the looks of things, and I was wondering how to get one?

I currently have Sundering Recurve Bow of Fotitude. Is there any way I can make this into a Fire Dmg Bow or do I have to waste more Plat buying one?

As long as it is not green unique bow you can change the box string from sundering to fiery.
Either find a fiery bow to salvage it out of or buy one from another player. It should only cost you 100-300 gold.

There's a collector that gives a bow with a Shocking Bowstring on it. IIRC, less foes resist lightning damage than fire.
